Dr. Roth was my doctor for all my childhood. My mom said she was in the hospital after giving birth in 1957. My dad was the only man who regularly brought his baby in the 50s and he got stared. But Dr. Roth was always nice. I brought my son to him as a baby. A good and decent man.

Dr. Roth was a wonderful man. He was my doctor from the ages of 6-18 and cared for me during some scary asthma-related years. He was always upbeat and a really good listener. I'm glad that he lived such a long and happy life. Thanks for caring. May you R.I.P.

Dr. Roth was a wonderful, gifted Pediatrician. He was warm, kind and attentive. A visit to his office was always a positive experience. He took care of us and our children until he retired. We all loved the "toy drawer", a highlight of each visit, and very clever! Our Mom "Metta" worked for the family, for many years. To The Entire Family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We Love You!, "The Dawson's".

Wow...what a fine gentleman, I'm grateful to have been his patient; maybe one of his first in 1952-53. I remember him making house calls in his V.W."Bug". I have memories of his office about 6600 on College. I was sad
when I turned 18 and had to move to an "adult" practice. It's a great pleasure to have known him. He always looked so cheery and well groomed.
Dr. Roth's excellent care and guidance
has helped me become a happy, healthy
older guy.

Dr. Roth was a wonderful, gentle man. He took such good care of our four children. I remember when my daughter was tiny and had to have a shot, Dr. Roth said that this hurts me more than it hurts her. God gave us such a special gift, and now Bertram is in Heaven with Him.

Dr. Roth was such a kind, gentle & joyful man. He made being sick not so scary, & I swear shots hurt a little less. I smile each time I smell Juicy Fruit.
He went above & beyond for my siblings & I - giving us a double prescription when one of us got poison ivy, calling on my brother for a month while he had his "mystery" illness & getting me in with the plastic surgeon upstairs when I split my forehead open. I know that St Peter welcomed him with a smile & a hug, & maybe even a finger puppet.
You will be missed, Dr. Roth. But your legacy will live on in all our healthy hearts.

Thank you Dr. Roth! - for caring for each of us as if we were your own! Thank you for your housecalls, Bazooga gum with the cartoons inside, and we will never forget your sandels. Years later we found out you had many many many patients you cared for - but at the time when we called and said - Dr. Roth, this is Pam and we need you! - we knew that you knew whose house to go to in the late night hours. Thank you for being kind and compassionate and OUR Dr. Roth!!!!

Bert was my friend here at the Glenridge on Palmer Ranch (Sarasota, FL) I lived in Indianapolis for 17 years, but my children were "overage" for a pediatrician. If I had needed one, I would have been thrilled to have Bert Roth. He and Alice were new friends here and we all enjoyed Alice until her death. What a gentle man and a true gentleman! His children should be so proud of him!!! Bert was admired by all here at this Continuing Care Retirement Center.

Dr Roth was a wonderful man and I feel like part of my family has passed away. My children loved him and would call him grandpa or Mr. Roggers on accident and he would laugh. He made me a better Mom and he always eased my fears. I couldnt of done it without him. I will always think of him when I see juicy fruit gum and a bat man mask from the toy drawer. Dr. Roth saved my sanity as well as taking wonderful care of my three children. We all loved him. No matter how stressed we were, he was always there with what was needed for healing and comfort. He was good enough to see my granddaughter when she visited.

Dr. Roth took care of our children and three of our grandchildren. I used to say I wish I could find a dr just like him for adults! He was a fine and wonderful man. He truly cared about the kids and the whole family. My kids remember the drawer with the treats and the toys, and they remember Mrs. Martin, too.

Dr Roth saved my cousin's life as an infant. That was all it took. He was our doctor, til we turned 18. Then, my children's. I once asked, when will you retire. He told me, he still had my grandchildren to take care of. I tried to send him a letter about a month ago. It was returned w/ no forwarding address. I also remember, Juicy Fruit, a toy & his sandals, all year long. Our thoughts & prayers go out to all who knew him.

My family lived across the street from Dr. Roth in Sherwood Village. Although he was my pediatrician, he also stitched up my dad's finger when he unwisely stuck it in a running rotary lawnmower. He was a compassionate pediatrician who will be sorely missed. My condolences to his children, Annie, Dana, and Bill.

I still have the old fashioned clothes pin Dr Roth pulled out of his pocket to soothe my teething baby during examination. He was kind and caring and professional down to his dress shoes. Wonderful pediatrician and man!

My prayers and love go out to Dr. Roth's entire family. Having had Dr. Roth as my Dr. until I turned 18 yrs old and his wonderful daughter Ann as my best friend and "sister" to this day. He made going to the Dr. not so scarey for an 8 yr. old girl who had just moved to Indy.
