I'll never forget this day my son lost his beloved friend. I'll never forget the heartbreak of Brian's mother when she came to get Brian's things from the home he shared with my son. It was a heartbreak no one but a mother would understand. I am still so sorry for all the family and friends who have been left behind to remember and cherish Brian's memory. God Bless and continue to bless all of you.

Brian always made me smile and was so fun to be around. He used to call me his "twin" in choir, and I loved it because I looked up to him so much. He will be missed so much and always remembered.

Brian and I met at Avon when he was a freshmen and I was a senior through choir and theater. He saw me through the rough patches, and I remember the summer before college, he introduced me to Wicked and I am so blessed to share those memories of show choir and "The Lady Cries Murder". He had a smile to brighten the dark days, a hug to strengthen you when you were falling, and a beautiful optimism that helped everyone see the world a little brighter. Brian, I cherish all those precious memories, and the time we spent together. Thank you for sharing those memories. My heart aches and thoughts of healing for the Benson family.

I didn't know Brian very well, but thanks to theatre, our paths crossed on several occasions. During those occasions, I only remember laughing, joking, and a lot of fun during those times. My condolences for all of his family and loved ones.

The emptiness I feel since you've left will pass as the memories we made return and fill my heart with the same warmth your smile and your presence brought to my soul. You saved me when I thought I was saving you, and I am blessed for that. I love you forever and always, Brian.
