Glen Campbell

84, of Greenwood, passed away on May 3, 2013. The son of Ernest and Sally Blanton Campbell, Glen was born April 8, 1929 in Wallins Creek, Kentucky. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Glen was a retired storekeeper.

Survivors include the two loves of his life, Katie Feilen and Jackie Campbell; children, Micheline (Fred) Wright, Sally Whitfield, Hope Campbell, Faith Berning, Glenna Louise Skaggs, Melanie Ann Baird, Angela Feilen, Robert (Sabina) Feilen and Chris (Patty) Feilen; brothers, Jack, Ralph and Ted Campbell; sisters, Marlayna Hatton and Ann Campbell; grandchildren, Shawna Keller, Bob Feilen, Gage Feilen, Melissa Berning, Adam Berning, David Baird, Holly Baird, Carleigh Gentry, Codey Harris, Alissa Feilen, Brittany Feilen, Charles Gibson, Tiffany Skaggs, Caleb Briggs and many others; 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on May 7, 2013 in Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 5171 West Smokey Row Road, Greenwood, where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to service time. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, Locks of Love or to the Lymphoma & Leukemia Society. Forest Lawn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
