Bruce Allman Obituary

Bruce Allman 63, passed away December 25, 2010. He was born in West Lafayette, Indiana to the late Marshall and Nancy Allman on May 30, 1947. He was a graduate of Ball State University, however, he still bleeds Gold and Black for Purdue. He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and National Officer and Grand Treasurer of the National Chapter of Sigma Chi. He was the owner of Allman and Company Certified Public Accountants. Bruce was a huge sports fan especially for Indiana sport teams, including Purdue, the Pacers, Ball State and the Colts. He was a member of the Certified Public Accountants Society, Indiana Chapter. He served as Chairman and President of the Indianapolis Chapter and Vice-President of the State Board Foundation. He was a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants. He was past president of LACY Organization "Young nomination in selection." He was a member of the Ball State Fellow Society and was also given the award of Achievement for service in the community. He was a member and vice-president of the Association of the National Accounting Profession Board. He was a member of Meridian Hills County Club. He was a member, treasurer and deacon of Second Presbyterian Church. Bruce loved being social and always enjoyed having a good time with family and friends. Survivors include his three children, Holly Gatto, Heather Allman and Todd Allman. He was preceded in death by his wife Lenna Allman and his parents. Visitation will be Thursday, December 30, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m at the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, with a memorial service starting at 7:00 p.m. Please visit the website: www.leppertmortuary.com where you can sign the guest book or leave a message for the family.
