Eleanor L. Endsley Passed away September 17th at the age of 78. She was married to J. Patrick Endsley for 57 years and 11 months. She is survived by her husband and five of her six children, Nancy G. Endsley (Vincent Wagner), Deirdre E. Endsley, Kevin C. Endsley (Kerry Green), Kathleen A. Miroslavich (George), and Rosemary C. Kemp (Jeffrey); seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was the daughter of Earl J. Raudenbush and Thelma (Kautsky) Raudenbush and the mother of Patrice Kathleen Endsley, all of whom predeceased her. She was employed by the Indiana House of Representatives and in public relations for the Indianapolis YWCA and Very Special Arts of Indiana. She was a five time winner on "Jeopardy" and was a national runner up in the annual "Tournament of Champions." Ellie was active with the Mud Creek Players theatre group for over 30 years where she acted, directed and produced. She was an active Girl Scout Leader. She was a proud member of the American Humanist Association, the ACLU and Emily's list. An active member of the Democratic Party, she served as precinct committeeman for many years. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on September 26, 2008 at the Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 1328 West 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260. In lieu of flowers, which she dearly loved, contributions may be made to the Mud Creek Players, Inc. or the Indiana ACLU. Online condolences may be made at:
