James Bemis

Brooksville, Fl - James C. Bemis, 75, of Brooksville, FL, formally of Indianapolis, passed away January 4, 2020. James is survived by wife, Christy Bemis; son, Ryan (Kimberly) Bemis; daughters, Shannon (Ron) Jones, Lisa (Jerry) Kase, Mindy Miller; Mother of his children, Fern Bemis; grandchildren, Stephanie Miller, Joe and Michael Hudson, Devon, Noble and Owen Jones, Bella and Blakeley Bemis; three beautiful great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Francis Bemis; brothers, Billy, Larry and Mick Bemis. Jim led a very full life and touched many lives through his journey. Being inducted into the Softball Hall of Fame is one of his most cherished memories. We truly feel grateful and blessed to have had shared in his time on this earth.

Services will be Monday, January 13, 2020 at 1:00 pm, at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, 1444 W US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130 with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of service at the Mortuary. Burial at Washington Park East Cemetery.
