In loving memory of my dear, Great Aunt Lavenia although we did not get to know each other well, we meet and talked on many occasions. Some of the lowest points in my life is when we buried my; grandfather, grandmothers, aunt, uncles, and father just knowing things were in your hands, made very difficult time so much easier to bare, for this is one of your many great deads you have earned a spot in heaven.

Glad to have been able to have the privilege of singing in choir next to Mrs. Levenia Jacobs. I will miss you and I will cherish the memories I have of you. LOL I can remember right before the song started she would say, "Do you have the words?" and as always I had written them down or found lyrics for her. It was a joy standing next to her and hearing how deep and powerful her voice was. Every time I saw her in church I always asked when she was coming back to choir and she always said as soon as she got better. Mrs. Levenia you will be missed very much by all of Allen.

One of the Matriarchs of Funeral Service has gone to claim her mansion in the sky. Lavenia was such a warm, loving and caring woman. She always greeted you with a smile, her soft spoken voice and a hug. There was never a time I couldn't stop in just to say "hi" and be made to feel welcome in her presence. There will never be another like her. Lavenia ALWAYS put the people, the families she served above everything else - being a funeral director was her true calling in life. We will miss you Lavenia but know that you are now at peace. Continued prayers to Stella, Buddy and the rest of the family during this trying time. Remember that although she is no longer here physically, she will never be far away for you have her eternal love embedded in your hearts. And to quote Bishop T.D. Jakes, "Death did not win; Love is always greater than death." Keep your heads to the sky and your hands in God's hands and your. I will always have nothing but admiration and respect for Mrs. Lavenia B. Jacobs.
