Martha Foote Obituary
Greenwood - 76, passed away on September 3, 2018. She was born Martha Ann Schott to the late Charles and Catherine (Schwab) Schott in Cincinnati, OH on December 9, 1941. She married Richard (Dick) F. Foote in 1962. He preceded her in death in 1985. Martha was a retired United States Postal Service clerk and was still very active in the APWU up until her death.
Martha is survived by her children Bill (Tammy) Foote of Greenwood, Bob (Kim) Foote of Greenwood, Mary Richardson of Indianapolis and Jeanne Hartley of Whiteland. She was preceded in death by her son, Rich Foote, in 1993.
Other survivors include 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 14 brothers and sisters-in-law and 37 nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at The Creek Church, 8435 Shelby St, Indianapolis, IN 46227. Gathering from 1-3pm and service from 3-4pm. Online condolences may be extended to the family by visiting www.singletonmortuary.com
If you would like to do something other than flowers the family suggest a donation to the American Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation, ALS Association or the charity of your choice.
