Nancy Marshall Obituary

Nancy Marshall 63, of Indianapolis died on Thursday with family by her side. Nancy was born in Anderson, Indiana on February 6, 1941. Following her graduation from Madison Heights High School and Indiana Business College, she married Charles Marshall of Marion. They moved in 1968 to Wanamaker, Indiana, where they lived for the next 23 years. Nancy had a youthful, loving and giving spirit. She contributed to youth education in the arts through dance instruction at the Ann Harmeson School of Dance in Anderson for 25 years, as well as being the dance choreographer at Franklin Central High School in the 1980's for the 'Flashettes' and for several musicals. She was a teacher and manager of the Diana Richardson Dance Studio in Wanamaker, and she was the hostess at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Southport for 15 years. Nancy is survived by several people grateful for her tireless contributions, including her son, Philip Marshall MD, her daughter and son-in-law Marci and Rick Wuttke, her sister Cristy LeMay, her aunts Ann Harmeson Hardacre and Ida Mae Harmeson, and her grandson Drake Wuttke. A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at the New Bethel Baptist Church in Wanamaker (8936 Southeastern Ave) at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Contributions can be made to the St. Francis Hospital Hospice service.
