My heart goes out to Susan's family at this time of sorrow. I was fortunate to have worked under Susan while she was principal at Brook Park many years ago. I remember how her enthusiasm for life and her dedication and love of the children made Brook Park such a warm and happy place to work and learn. How very special a lady you were. God bless you and your family.

This is David Royster, Susan's cousin. I'm sorry we missed the burial, my wife was in the hospital and we just couldn't make it. Susan's grandmother, Anna Kelley, and my grandmother, Eliza Agnew, were sisters. Danny and I were playmates, Susan and Bobby was a little older,so I didn't play with them as much, but I have fond memories of her at Aunt Nan's house. I'm so sorry for your loss.

My heart and prayers go out to her family the students, parents, faculty and the entire community. May the peace of Almighty God surround you and grant you peace, wisdom, knowledge and understanding during this challenging time. I'm a novice principal in a small town in Texas. This tragedy captured my heart the moment I heard it. Then after reading the news reports and watching the 11 minute tribute to Ms. Jordan from her students, parents faculty and staff, I could not let the day go by without sending my condolences. That video speaks volumes to the woman she is and how she has impacted the lives of so many for over 25 years. WOW! My prayers are with you and continue to thank God for the opportunity to have a lady, a leader and a friend like Ms. Jordan. You don't find ladies like Ms. Jordan every day. Live, Laugh and Love! God Bless

To the daughters of Susan - I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost my mother 2 years ago to breast cancer. This is a loss you will feel for your lifetime. I will be praying for your broken hearts, for your children's' broken hearts. After nearly 2 years of missing my mom and best friend, all I can say is keep her alive with you by talking about her all the time - what would she say, how would she say it, what would she do. Use her recipes and favorite dishes and uphold some of her favorite traditions. The pain will not diminish but the waves will eventually overwhelm you less frequently. Prayers to all who loved Susan. Such a terrible loss for this community.

For Mrs Jordan, her family and all friends:

There are people who shine so bright in our lives they make us more complete.

They are the rarest of individuals that foster our dreams and aspirations assuring us that we can do more than we ever thought capableto be human and grow and shine as bright as we can.

We look to the night sky and see the stars twinkling, seemingly dancing almost even, reminding us there is more in this world than ourselves and that we are all connected.

Mrs. Jordan was and remains a shining star.

Today and every night, she shines over us from heaven above, continuing to embrace us in her light as we weep but she will beg us to be resilient and allow the full spectrum of emotions to come back into our livesto lead our children, be compassionate to all and to embrace those in our community. To remember, even when the darkness of the night has passed, that stars still shine around us.

When we look at those stars in the sky, we will always move our gaze to the brightest in the sky and remember Mrs. Jordan and how she lived, loved, servedalways selfless.

Mrs. Jordan, we thank you for allowing us to share your shine.

Mrs Jordan, we look up to youthe brightest star looking down on us with the thousands of stars that you touched clustered around you. Importantly, we will always be compelled to keep looking up.

Thank you Mrs. Jordan and God's speed!
