Wilma Jeanne (Mann) Agee
Indianapolis - Wilma Jeanne "Jeannie" (Mann) Agee, Crawfordsville- 86, died on Monday, April 30, 2018. She was born in Beech Grove, Indiana, July 31, 1931 to Edgar Vernon Mann and Ruby Violet (Long) Mann. She graduated from Beech Grove High School in 1949, where she met Jack D. Agee. They married in 1950 and he precedes her in death. She was very proud to have worked with many Orthopedic surgeons in the Indianapolis area. She began her career as Administrative Assistant for the Orthopedic Residents at IU Medical Center in the 1960's. She then worked as office manager for Dr. Rapp, Dr. Cravens and Dr. Garceau. She ultimately retired from OrthoIndy in 1998. She volunteered at many organizations in the Brownsburg and Crawfordsville area. Jeannie is survived by daughters Cindy Wells of Brown County, IN and Sue (Jeffrey) Lucas of Crawfordsville, IN; grandchildren Maggie Andrews, Annie Andrews and Claire Dillehay; Abraham Lucas, Sophia Lucas-Short (Simon), Arlen Lucas and Sam Lucas; nephew Randy Agee, nieces Dianne Ruberg, Kathy Horen, Anna Lee Winterman, Linda Riley and Adrienne Fields; plus seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Doris Agee of Cincinnati, brother Norman Mann of Indianapolis, husband Jack Agee, and dear friends Shirley Shanklin and Gene Nugent. Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, May 11, from 5-7 pm at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 2131 W. Black Creek Valley Rd., Crawfordsville, IN. Memorial service is Saturday, May 12, 2:00 pm at Little & Son's Funeral Home, Beech Grove, IN with visitation opportunity beginning at noon. Pastor Marvin Cheek officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jeannie's name may be made to Longview Tree Fund at the Montgomery County Community Foundation-www.mccf.org.
