Alma Lorene Page Keeler

93, of Avon, passed away on February 7, 2014. She was born on February 10, 1920, in Dennison, IL, to the late Herman and Florence Page. She graduated from Commercial College in 1940. She traveled the world extensively with her husband, Irv. She loved to collect antiques, especially dolls and china. She was an active member of Avon United Methodist Church and a volunteer at the VA Hospital for 12 years, while 3 of her sons were in the service.

Alma devoted her life to her family and friends that relied on her and loved her dearly. Her support, her caring, her love, her beautiful spirit, and especially, her wonderful smile will forever continue to shine on.

Survivors include her loving husband of 71 years, Irvin H. Keeler; sons, Jeff (Lorna), Jim (Virginia), Joe (Billie), Jack (Gail) Keeler; daughter, Jane Keeler; sister, Eva Lou Johnson; eight grandchildren, Scott, Suzy, Nick, Michael, Bob, Daniel, Kyle, and Matthew; one great-granddaughter, Solana.

Alma's son, John David Keeler and brothers, Oren and Ralph Page preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in Conkle Funeral Home Avon Chapel . The funeral service will held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Avon United Methodist Church, 6850 East Highway 36, with visitation prior from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Alma will be laid to rest in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
