Billy was my close cousin and pre-teen/early teen year friend. We played video games together, went to the same middle school, and although we didn't always see eye to eye (And sometimes the feuding got a little serious), we had some fun times and hilarious conversations. I was basically his sidekick. I will never forget the time he gave me an extra Genesis 6-button controller as a gift. He was caring and he loved and cared about his family. It was very unfortunate that we weren't able to see eachother in recent years prior to this, but the love remains the same. Much love to my cousin Billy Hawkins. I'm grateful for the family friendship and fun times we did have.- SynClaiR West

To the Hawkins Family
May your days to come be strengthened with the joyful memories Billy has left. His cute and cunning smile has touched the lives of many. May the Lord continue to shine his light upon you, as you continue to journey through this newly paved road. God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, and above all that we can think or imagine; allow him to lead and guide you....

My heart...your children hearts will forever love you. Thank for all the love and memories. Thank you for making me a mom 14 years ago. No matter what you held a piece of my heart. I will continue to take care of our son and keep him around his siblings. I wish there was a bit more time. But I know Gods will and plan is not of my own and it is good because God is good. This saddness has been real and it still boils down to the purest form of Love. Nothing else matters but love and God is Love.
Its time to go home Billy, but we will see you again in truth and spirit...Hasaun will forever love his daddy and as long as the Lord has me doing the work I need to do here, I will forever remind him of that.
