Robin Eleise Hacker Caito

49, Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013. She had a courageous 17 year battle with breast cancer.

Born June 21, 1964 in Indianapolis, she was a 1982 graduate of Manual High School. Robin was a graduate of Four Star Beauty College and was a hairdresser. She also worked at FedEx and Hacker Sewing. An artist, she enjoyed painting, drawing, reading, and was a history enthusiast. Robin was an advocate for autism awareness and truly cherished time with her family.

Survivors: two sons, John & Frankie Caito; mother: Claudia (Bowling) Hacker; seven sisters, Sandra (Gary) Jones, Cathie (Mike) Kelley, Pamela Hayes, Sheri Hacker, Tonya (Marshall) Tullos, Teresa Johnston and Shauna (Kevin) Schwab; former spouse, Frank Caito; special friend, David Little; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Pearl Hacker; and grandparents, Claude & Oda Bowling and Scott & Maggie Hacker; and niece, Nicole Schwab.

Visitation: 2-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3 at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch , 1605 S. State Rd 135; with the funeral service on Monday, Nov. 4 at 11 a.m. Burial: Calvary Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the John Caito scholarship fund, 1104 Tulip Drive Indianapolis, IN 46227.
