Tina Bowling Obituary
47, Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015. She was born in Indianapolis on May 14, 1968 to Herman and Wanda Stacy Barger. Tina worked as a dental assistant for several years. She was a member of Indian Creek Christian Church and was very active at Greenwood Christian Academy where her children attend school. Tina never met a stranger and with her infectious smile she was always the life of the party. She loved photography and working out with her spin class buddies at L.A. Fitness. She was preceded in death by her father; and her daughter, Madeline. She is survived by her husband, Michael Bowling; children, Grace, Mitchell and Greta; mother, Wanda Barger; brother, Dean Barger; and many extended family members. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Indiana Creek Christian Church with funeral services being held at the church on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Methodist Hospice. Online condolences may be shared with the family at:

The first day we moved into Edenwilde, I knew we were going to be awesome neighbors. You came over and sat in my front yard for four hours, talking. (Yes, four hours of talking, the very first time we met!) Even though we moved a few years ago, we always kept in touch. The Bowling's will always be family to the Wolf's. Some people come into our lives and leave such a huge mark. You, my friend, are most definitely one of those people. Spread your wings and fly, Tina. Until we meet again, I miss you, already. (give my mommy a big hug from me!)

I'm so glad Tina I cheered together through college. She was my best friend, we laughed, we danced, we cried over stupid guys and we shared each other's dreams. Wanda and Mike, Tina lived her dreams because of the life she had with her family growing up and the family she made with her marriage. So many memories, so little time. This girl is not only my daughter, but now my angel! She was amazing from the first time I held her in my arms and continued to be until she went into the arms of Jesus. I will miss her more than I could ever say, but I rest in the fact that she loved the Lord with all her heart from the time she was a little girl. She influenced so many peoples lives and ministered to so many. God only loans us our children until He is ready for them. Every thing on this earth belongs to God. Even though Tina and I had not physically seen each other in years, we have kept up on each others lives and kids through social media. I will miss her inspirational posts, her beautiful sunrise and sunset pictures, her infectious smile, and hearing her pride at the accomplishments of her children.
