Barry Dean Dysert

Fishers - Barry Dean Dysert, beloved husband, father, grandfather and son, passed away January 20, 2019 at the age of 61. Barry resided in Fishers, IN and was born in Johnstown, PA on December 29, 1957 to parents, Walter and Bobbie (Leidy) Dysert. Barry was a Christian man with a thirst for knowledge. He got joy out of teaching others, especially his children and grandchildren. He earned his B.S. in Mathematics, a Master's in computer science and an MBA in Finance. Barry worked as a Software Engineer, currently employed at Constructyv. He was a member of Northview Christian Church (Fishers Campus) and was a dedicated Bible teacher and Professional Adjunct Instructor of: Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Business Information Systems, and Accounting. Barry also enjoyed playing chess, reading and most especially fulfilling his role as PopPop.

Barry is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl A. (Straub) Dysert, whom he married on May 5, 1979 in Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his mother, Bobbie Rudge; children: Bryan Scott Dysert (Rachel) and Laura Beth Botos (Brian); grandchildren: Waverly and Gideon Dysert and Easton Botos; brother, Robert Dysert (Denise); and many other loving extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter.

Friends may gather from 10am-11am on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Flanner Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, where his memorial service will immediately follow at 11am. Burial will be private in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
