Noel Bogard Obituary
Cape Coral - Noel Max Bogard, 90, of Indianapolis, Indiana and Cape Coral, Florida passed away in his home in Florida surrounded by his family on March 23, 2020. He was born April 11, 1929 in Casey, Illinois to Wayne and Carrie Bogard. He was raised in Washington, Indiana with his six fun-loving brothers and sisters.
Max met the love of his life, Dora, his wife of 69 years, at the Army Chemical Center in Baltimore, Maryland and they soon married in August of 1950 in Tokyo, where they both served in Japan. Max was a self-employed, distinguished contractor, establishing United Homes in Indianapolis. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, private pilot and stained glass enthusiast. Max gave endless boat rides to his family and friends in his beloved Cape Coral.
Max is survived by his wife, Dora; children, Max, Linda, Karen, and Steven; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Private family entombment will take place Tuesday, March 31 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations in Max's name may be made to Development Office, Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.

My favorite uncle . Loved visiting with him when he came north to Indianapolis. Our hearts go out to Dora, Linda, Max. Karen and Steven. Mark and i will miss him .
