Earle George Obituary

GEORGE
EARLE ALEXANDER, 90, died peacefully on March 13, 2006 after a short illness. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, resided in Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and most recently was a resident of Highgate Assisted Living in Paoli, PA. He was predeceased by his daughter Lauren Hammer and his wife R uth Anderson George. He is survived by his loving companion Elise Casey and her children Ruth and Howard Kravitz, Jean and Melville Thomason, Justin and Donna Casey and Judith and Bob Vaughn. He is also survived by his own children Barbara and Dennis Piccirillo, Richard and Diane George and Edward Hammer. He was the very proud grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 6 great grand-children. By profession, Earle was a banker with the Commercial Trust Company of New Jersey. He served in the Army and was stationed in Hawaii, the South Pacific and the Philippines during World War II. He was a Master Mason and member of the Peninsula Lodge No. 99, F. & A.M. Friends and relatives are invited to a Memorial Service at Highgate Assisted Living on March 26 at 2 P.M. A private family interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his honor to your favorite charity.
