TUCKER
DR. FRANCIS de SALES JR., Col.US Army (Ret.) of Carmel CA, on June 12, 2005. Born July 4, 1922 in Philadelphia (a member of the Yankee Doodle Club). Survived by his wife of 58 years, Phyllis. Devoted father of Ann Marie Tucker Hunt Bellah (Darell Bellah) of San Jose CA, Jean Tucker Riparbelli (James) of San Jose CA, Mary Tucker Mayes of Torrance CA, Nancy Tucker Zurbrick (Larry) of San Jose CA, Francis de Sales Tucker III (Catherine Jaeger) of Menlo Park CA, and Brian Tucker (Heidi) of Kirkland WA. Dearly loved grandfather of Diana Hunt Wilson (Chris), Brian Riparbelli (Kelli), Kevin Riparbelli, Laura Riparbelli, Kelly Mayes, Gregory Mayes, Airman USCG, William Zurbrick, Cheryl Zurbrick, Alexander Tucker, Quinn Tucker, Brian Tucker Jr., and Madeleine Tucker. Eldest brother of the late Louis Tucker of Philadelphia, the late Madeleine Tucker McLaughlin of Philadelphia, the late Marguerite "Billie" Tucker Hearn of Philadelphia, and John Tucker, Maj.USAF (Ret.) of Corpus Christi TX. Dr. Tucker attended St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He served 32 years in the US Army Dental Corps after which he became a Dental Consultant at Delta Dental of California for 11 years. He was a Life Member of the American Dental Association and of the California Dental Association. He and his wife spent retirement years in Carmel CA. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Auxiliary of the Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula, P.O. Box HH, Monterey CA 93942-6032.
