I am very saddened to hear of Bonnie's passing. I only knew her for 1.5 years, but in that short time she displayed an obvious passion for the many people & programs at Temple University. Her enthusiasm for the
actuarial program, as well as her vast network of connections inside & outside the Greater Philadelphia area were unparalleled. My deepest condolences to her family & friends. The Lord worked a great and mighty work in her life! She will be missed.

Sorry to hear of Bonnie's passing. May the family find peace in the loving memories with their dear loved one.
I attended Temple between 2002 and 2005, enrolled in the AS program under the lead of Bonnie. I remember Bonnie as a leader and very strong headed woman, a good motivation for other women entering the field of actuarial science, like myself. She was very direct in her communication but most of all she was abundantly passionate about teaching actuarial science with the goal of having her students be successful in moving on to a career in actuarial science. Today I, among many others, am a product of her vision and tireless work in the teaching of actuarial science.
Rest in heavenly peace Bonnie

My condolences to Bonnies family. I was one of her many students at Temple and she had a profound impact on my success in the actuarial field. She is a legend in the industry and her name is synonymous with the program at Temple. Her legacy will live on through the many students she impacted over the years.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to Bonnie's family. I was one of her students from 2002-2004. To say that Bonnie helped me get started in my career is an understatement. Bonnie was a teacher who showed COMPLETE dedication to her students' learning. I entered the AS program at Temple with an undergraduate degree in Psychology. I had a steep learning curve with math and statistics (to say the least!). I spent endless time with Bonnie in her office hours as she patiently answered all my very tedious math questions. By the end of the first year I felt up to speed with everyone else thanks to her patience with me. Bonnie never made me feel bad for asking questions. I'll forever feel grateful for her. I did keep in touch with her a bit over the years, and I'm so saddened now to hear of her passing. A truly special person who found her niche at Temple University and impacted so many lives over the years. I have since met other Temple grads who had Bonnie as a prof and it's clear she was loved and appreciated by many. May God be with all of you during this time. - Raissa
