Dimitri Elias Melas Oct. 6, 1932 - Apr. 14, 2009 Resident of Redwood City Dimitri was a devoted husband, loving father, dedicated brother and committed uncle. He is survived by his loving wife Eleni, two sons Elias and Christos, sister Litsa, niece Kia and daughter-in-law Nicole. Born in Maladreni, Argolida Greece, Dimitri is best known for his devotion to the Greek Orthodox Church with his 45 years of service as the cantor, his dedication to his family and his passion for real estate. Loving son of the late Elias and Evdokia Melas, Dimitri passed away in his home away from home, the Greek Church; he will be greatly missed. All services will be held at the Church of the Holy Cross, 900 Alameda De Las Pulgas, Belmont CA. My uncle was my best friend and like a father to me. He was always there for me I wish he was still alive so he could continue being there and giving me help whenever I needed it. I miss him so so so much I can't believe it's been 9 years since he died because it feels like yesterday I found out.
