So impressive and compassionate, I met her once and was struck by her sincerity and dedication. She saved Lakota land almost entirely by herself, her legacy will definitely live on. As a fellow Native American, I'll always remember to cherish our sacred lands and to honor our cultural heritage. Thank you Debra, you will be forever remembered with love.

She inspired me to become a lawyer, she truly changed the world for the better. I'll always remember her determination to keep Lakota land safe. She truly was a hero, and I'll always remember her legacy and dedication. Thank you for teaching me self love and acceptance. Despite I did not know Ms Debra white and/or her family, I would like to be among those who offered condolences. Debra, you were a remarkable woman. It takes courage and Indians blood to do what you did. You stood straight up of you believe. Debra, Life is just a journey, Life is eternal, Love is immortal and death it is only a horizon and the horizon is nothing but but saves the sight of our lives.

I had the honor of meeting this wonderful lady back in 1981 while I was attending school in Rapid City, being from Pennsylvania, we had a shot conversation but one I have never forgotten. Peace be with Debra and her family,she will be missed by many whom she has touched in their lives.

I met Debra when I was introduced to her by my friend " Martha Porcupine " , at Standing Rock . Her love for her people , her love for her family , her love for the land , her love for justice and fairness , was admirable and righteous .
