Elizabeth Kissack Obituary
KISSACK. Elizabeth died peacefully at Castle View Nursing Home in Peel aged 105 years. A retired teacher and the widow of Rex Kissack, a Methodist minister. Elizabeth was born in Bristol in 1916. Her life as a minister's wife took her to many homes, including Oxford, Leeds, Rome (Italy), Colwyn Bay, Liverpool, Laxey, and Kirk Michael. She served as President of the World Council of Methodist Women, and travelled around the world meeting Methodist women from many countries, listening to their concerns, and working for the betterment of women everywhere. She leaves behind son John, daughter Christie, grandchildren Robert, Isaac and Aaron, and great-grandchildren Elsie, Thomas, Mira, Noa and Ayla. The funeral service is at the Douglas Borough Crematorium on Friday June 25th at 2:45pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to the Family Library.
