Larry Duby Obituary

Larry George Duby, 76, of Lincoln passed away Sunday, Oct.18, 2015 at his home.
Born Sept. 8, 1939 to George L. and Esther M. (nee Clark) Duby in Warren, he was raised in Oscoda.
After graduating from Oscoda High School, Larry served in the U.S. Navy and the worked for Saginaw Steering Gear.
On Dec. 22, 1972, he married Kathy Alexander in Saginaw, and they were residents of Frankenmuth, retiring to Lincoln in 1998.
They spent winters in Naples, Fla., where they had many friends.
Larry was a member of the Frankenmuth and Lincoln Lions Clubs and of the Shriners. He enjoyed boating, hunting and fishing, and was an excellent cook.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughter Jacqueline (Jim) Zeimet; son, Randy (Dianne) Duby; four grandchildren, Lilia, Nicolas and Dayne Zeimet and Ashton Duby; and his brother-in-law, Bob (Pat) Alexander.
Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln. There will be a Masonic service Friday, Oct. 30, 2015 at 2:30 p.m., with a memorial service following at 3 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors beginning at 2 p.m.
