ADELBERT "DEL" ALDERTON III
Age 81, of Chatsworth, California, died Monday, March 4, 2013. He was born to Adelbert Alderton II and Mildred Fehrman in Saginaw, Michigan, on August 20 1931.
Del received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona in 1953, and served as a tank commander in the United States Army from 1953 to 1957. Del was married to Jewel Eisenman on September 2, 1951.
After the Army, Del was an accomplished salesman for a national industrial products distributor, Uniroyal, Inc. He bought his own business, Pacific Belting Industries, Inc., and was a successful businessman in Los Angeles until he retired in 2001.
Del is survived by his loving wife Jewel, sons Del (and wife Cindy) and Scott (and wife Sandi), and daughter-in-law Adrianne. Del has nine wonderful grandchildren: Ashley; Justin; Austin; Jason; Brianne; Chase; Caitlin; Cody and Kenedy.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to: Leeza's Care Connection, in memory of Del Alderton, 501 S. Buena Vista St., Burbank, CA 91505. Leeza's is a free resource and support center for family caregivers.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 13th, at 3:00 p.m., at Porter Valley Country Club, 19216 Singing Hills Dr., Northridge, CA 91326.
