OLSON, Andrew William

Andrew William ("Bill") Olson was born in Portland, Oregon on July 3, 1922, passing from our earthly realm on September 26, 2013. He served in combat during World War II from 1943 through the end of the war in 1945 as a Staff Sergeant, Rifle Company, 32nd ("Red Arrow") Division in the South Pacific. Bill married Patricia ("Pat") Custer on August 28, 1948. He began the practice of law in Pasadena, California in 1951 following graduation from the USC Law School. From 1972 to 1974 Bill served as the Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Internal Security Division of the United States of America. In 1974 the family moved back to Pasadena where Bill continued with his law practice until his retirement in August of 2010. He is survived by his wife Patricia and his two sons Robert and Scott and his two grandchildren, Daniel and Elisa.
