Jack MESSER Obituary

MESSER, Jack Taylor
January 12, 1930 - January 4, 2014

Jack was born and raised in Glendora,Ca. He graduated from Citrus Union High School in 1948. He went to be with our Lord and Savior in his sleep at his home in West Covina after an eight year struggle with Alzheimers disease. Jack graduated from Pasadena Nazarene College and received his Masters degree from U.S.C. He pastored two churches in California and was a missionary to Taiwan.After returning home he taught school for almost thirty years in the Charter Oak School District. Jack is survived by his wife of sixty six years, Carole, his sons, Jim (Suzanne) Mike, and daughter, Janet (Roger) Little. Eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.He was pre-deceased by his son David. Memorial Services are pending

He was my elementary school teacher (back in the 80's) and we all never forgot him he was such a wonderful man. Every time I see a box of white Tic Tacs to this day I always think of Mr. Messer! My condolences

I had Mr. Messer as a Teacher when I was in Sixth Grade at Ruddock. He was AWESOME! I can still remember him teaching us to count in Chinese, and he would pass out these smiley face stickers. I will never forget Mr. Messer as long as I live, My sincerest condolences. Chris Lawson
