Jack MESSER Obituary
January 12, 1930 - January 4, 2014
Jack was born and raised in Glendora,Ca. He graduated from Citrus Union High School in 1948. He went to be with our Lord and Savior in his sleep at his home in West Covina after an eight year struggle with Alzheimers disease. Jack graduated from Pasadena Nazarene College and received his Masters degree from U.S.C. He pastored two churches in California and was a missionary to Taiwan.After returning home he taught school for almost thirty years in the Charter Oak School District. Jack is survived by his wife of sixty six years, Carole, his sons, Jim (Suzanne) Mike, and daughter, Janet (Roger) Little. Eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.He was pre-deceased by his son David. Memorial Services are pending

He was my Special Education Teacher when I was at Ruddock Junior High in Covina, California.
He was a `special´ instrument in my life...I loved him dearly
I will see him again when God calls my name.
We all will worship our Lord God, our Creator

I can still count to 12 and say a partial dialog in Chinese! ('67) Mr. Messer was always kind and patient. Blessings to all. RIP!

Jack, please watch over Billy Garringer, he left us March 31, 2014.I miss him so much..I know now he is a angel and watching over us along with you, Tommy, David, and Matt, Mom and Dad Garringer. We miss you...

He was my elementary school teacher (back in the 80's) and we all never forgot him he was such a wonderful man. Every time I see a box of white Tic Tacs to this day I always think of Mr. Messer! My condolences

I had Mr. Messer as a Teacher when I was in Sixth Grade at Ruddock. He was AWESOME! I can still remember him teaching us to count in Chinese, and he would pass out these smiley face stickers. I will never forget Mr. Messer as long as I live, My sincerest condolences. Chris Lawson

Great pastor...very real family. His wife used to scoop me and my sister up and take us to church every Sunday. Valley Center Church of the Nazarene. I think his first church.
