1936 - 2018 Obituary Condolences
Louise McCullough slipped quietly away on Friday, February 23, 2018, just one week after her 82nd Birthday. She was born in Faribault, Minnesota February 16, 1936. Louise was born at home in the middle of a Blizzard, her father actually went for the Doctor in a Horse and slay. In 1946 her family moved to Camino, California, her mother enrolled her in school, also in that classroom was a boy named Ken McCullough. Some eighteen years later Ken and Louise were married.
Louise always loved Music, the Piano and the Pipe organ were her instruments of choice, Louise was church organist for several churches in our area. She eventually received a Master's Degree in Music. Louise's main vocation was education and she taught in the Ontario Montclair School District for twenty four years.
February 1, 1964, Ken and Louise were married, Louise was teaching and Ken would go on to start a Construction Co. Ken learned to fly at Cable airport in Upland and Louise soon joined him in his passion. Their love for flying took them all over the country. Eventually taking a trip in a two place open cockpit Bi-plane that included fourteen thousand miles and landing in all of the original forty eight states.
Louise would eventually leave teaching to join Ken in the operation of their Construction Co.
Louise was also active in several Philanthropic organizations. Her real passion would become the Assistance League of the Foothill Communities, where she was a Life member. Louise was also a Life member and Past President of The American Assn. of University Women. A Past President of the Nite Owl Quilt Guild and was currently serving as a Director of the Ontario Montclair Teachers Federal Credit Union.
Louise is survived by her sister Joyce Bonlie of Las Vegas, three sons, Robert Hazard, Randall Hazard and Eric McCullough. Four Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren, numerous Nieces and Nephews and a loving husband of fifty four years.
A celebration of Life will be held on March 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Stone Funeral Home in Upland CA. A reception will follow immediately at Hanger 316 at Cable Airport.
In Lieu of Flowers a donation could be made to Assistance League of the Foothill Communities.
