Patricia was born in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Jeannette Stanton. The family moved to Fontana, California in 1941, and she graduated from Colton High School in 1945. She married John Ambrose and they had three children together: Susan, John, and Cynthia. Patricia built her life in the Inland Empire, where she worked as the principal’s secretary at Colton High School (1946-1962), and later transferred to Bloomington High School, where she worked until she retired in 1990. She was a devout member of the Blessed John XXIII Catholic Church in Fontana. Patricia passed January 23, 2018 at home under the loving care of her family. She is survived by her younger brother: Thomas Stanton (wife Martha), two children: daughter, Susan Fikes, and her son, John Ambrose; also, three grandchildren: Leanna (Neil), Justin, and Jim (wife Erika), and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Cynthia Ambrose.

Thursday, February 8, 2018: Ingold’s Funeral Chapel on Juniper Ave. in Fontana, 5p.m. - 9 p.m. for viewing and rosary

Friday, February 9, 2018: Blessed John’s XXIII Catholic Church on Tamarind Ave. in Fontana, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. for mass and service; internment will follow at Green Acre’s Memorial Gardens on Cedar Ave. in Bloomington.
