Theodore "Ted" Blaine Redinger
Longtime resident of San Bernardino, Theodore Blaine Redinger passed away peacefully at home on September 15th, 2012 from cancer complications. Theodore was 66 years old, born on October 20, 1945 in Niagara Falls, New York. Theodore was the first born child of Kenneth and Louise Redinger.
Theodore attended elementary school in Niagara Falls, and Arrowhead School in San Bernardino. He graduated from San Bernardino High School, and attended further education at Valley College; where her received his A.A. Degree in Refrigeration and Electronics Technology. After this, he opened a business Able Service and Electric which he ran for 20 years, servicing the community. After closing the business her was employed at Plymouth Village in Redlands for several years. He also worked for J.K Residential Service in San Bernardino. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church, and Community Bible in San Bernardino.
Theodore is survived by his wife, Janet Tejada, two children, Steffen W. Redinger and Michelle L. Redinger of San Bernardino, his mother Louise Thompson Redinger and one brother Gary S. Redinger of San Bernardino, His father Kenneth Leland Redinger preceded him in death in 1986.
His hobbies in life included music, singing, composing songs, playing the piano and guitar and collecting antiques. He was a member if the NRA and served in the U.S. Army in 1968.
Viewing will be held Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 4-8:00 p.m. at Montecito Mortuary, 3520 E. Washington St. Colton, CA.
Theodore's remains will be interred at Montecito Cemetery. Services will be private. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
