Val Alan Maiocco

LA VERNE - Val Alan Maiocco, 60, of La Verne died July 12, 2004 at Kaiser Hospital in Los Angeles. Born January 28, 2004 at Muroc Air Force Base, CA, he was a resident of San Dimas and La Verne for 19 years. He was a teacher for Chaffey School District for three years, and was a retired attorney of 15 years from West Covina where he had a private practice. Mr. Maiocco was very involved with the church and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, La Verne. He is survived by his beloved family: wife, Pamela Maiocco, son Anthony Alan Maiocco, daughter Melissa Maiocco and son Nathaniel Wade Maiocco, all of La Verne, CA; mother, Rita Maiocco of Paoli, PA; sister, Joyce Kiel of Moorestown, NJ; brother Mark Maiocco of Spotsylvania, Virginia. He is also survived by a multitude of nieces , nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 17, 2004 at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, La Verne in the Relief Society Room, followed by funeral service at 11 a.m. Private interment will be made.
