Born and raised in Ontario and Upland, CA, and recently a resident of Annie's Haven in Fontana, CA. He is preceded in death by his Wife Diana, Sister Wanda Shinn-Fluallen, Mother Aline and Father Lloyd, Father and Mother in Law Paul and Eleanor Pratt. He is survived by his Son Stephen (Meredith), (Granddaughter Crystlle), Daughter Linda Reiss (Rob), (Grandson's Cameron & Matthew), Son Paul (JoCecelia), (Granddaughter Cherie), Daughter Laura Henson (Richard), (Granddaughters, Courtney, Amber, Faith), Sister Marcia Laycock, Brother Charles (Mary), Brother in Law Don Pratt (Linda), Sister in Law Paula Blatz, and many Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and Friends Leann & Todd Marshall. As a Graduate of Chaffey High, Chaffey College, and College of the Pacific with a Masters in English, he enjoyed a 36 year career in the Ontario Montclair School District as a Grade School Teacher, retiring from Mission Elementary School, and inspired many past students and numerous Family members to become Educators in their own right. More importantly he was a believer and Christian Man of deep Faith accepting Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in his early 30's, and was a wonderful example of God's Grace, love and plan for us and others he met, right up until the end. A Service with full Military Honors will be held on Wednesday September 5, 2018 at 2PM, at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, CA 92518. (See his Memorial page at www.Draper-Mortuary.com). Lastly, although he will be missed immeasurably by his Family and Friends, his Life and Memories will live on forever, through and by all of us who were blessed to have had him in our lives. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the or your local Church in his Honor.
