Yolanda "Landa" Gonzales Obituary
Yolanda "Landa" Gonzales
November 3, 1949–February 13, 2018
Yolanda was a 57 year resident of Ontario, Ca. She was born in Upland, Ca and moved to Ontario in 1960. Yolanda Graduated from Chaffey High School in 1967. She was a steadfast employee at Safetran Systems for over 40 years. Yolanda was a devoted mother, a loving Grandmother and a proud Great Grandmother. She shared a special bond with her only Son and his beautiful family. It was an unconditional and transcending bond. Her family meant the world to her. They shared long conversations, shopping trips, and countless good times baking and cooking together. Yolanda lost 4 siblings and dedicated herself to caring for her nephews and nieces left behind. She constantly went out of her way to call, listen, visit, cook, and help in time of need. She never hesitated to tell those around her how special they were to her with sincere compliments and encouragement. Yolanda loved family get togethers, dancing, baking, and always looked forward to watching dancing with the stars. She enjoyed gardening in an effort to keep her dad's chili plants alive. Yolanda's sincere hospitality, motherly persona, and inviting personality made her that much more amazing. She is survived by her son (Gerald Gonzales), her daughter in law (Christina Gonzales), her Granddaughters (Brianna, Correna, and Danielle Gonzales), her grandson (Gerald Gonzales Jr), her great grandson (Jay Aiden Fernandez), her Sisters (Lorraine Pro and Cynthia Lopez) and her brothers (Ronnie Gonzales and Danny Gonzales). Landa was preceded in death by her parents (Robert and Margaret Gonzales), her twin sister (Linda Ornelas), her sister (Patsy Soto), and her brothers (David Gonzales and Bobby Gonzales). Visitation Service will be held on Friday March 2nd between 5-8pm at Drapers Mortuary. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 3rd at 9am, also at Drapers Mortuary, immediately followed by Interment Service at Bellevue Memorial Park.
