Obituary Condolences

Niland resident Gale Good passed away on Friday, January 12, 2007 at the age of 68. He had lived in Niland for the past 19 years. Born in Hale Center, TX on August 21, 1938, Gale served his country in the US Army and was awarded a Sharpshooter commendation. He was a machinist by trade and owned Good Machine Company in Brawley from which he retired in 2000. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Dora Good; two daughters, Eileen O'Connell of Riverside and Marlene O'Connell of Fontana; two granddaughters, Alyssa and Lauren of Riverside, and by his brother, Edward Lawrence of Woodland Hills. He was preceded in death by his son Bobby Good (38) in 1998. Gale was passionate about horse racing and was once a co-owner of a thoroughbred. He was an avid sports fan, especially for the Lakers and Rams. He stayed loyal to the Rams even after they left L.A. He was a member of the Del Rio Golf Club for several years where he loved to play golf. Gale will always be remembered for his big, warm hugs, his honesty, generosity and patience. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched. He left us much too soon. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with a memorial service commencing at 11:00 a.m. at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, CA 92504.
