Obituary Condolences


Age 95, passed away quietly on Monday morning, November 5th, surrounded by his family. He was the host of "The Evening Concert" on radio station KFAC for 44 years. He also hosted "Musical Masterpieces" and "Luncheon at the Music Center" and was known as the "Voice of Hollywood Bowl" in the 1950s and 1960s.

Mr. Cassidy is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy; his children, Richard, Peggy Friedman (Richard) and John (Susan); six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Utter McKinley San Fernando Mission Mortuary on Sunday, November 11, 2012. Visitation from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. and Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Mass will be held at San Fernando Mission Rey Chapel on Monday, November 12, 2012, 10:30 a.m. Interment and reception to follow.
