Nov. 4, 1951 – June 7, 2024
Francisco Aguilar Lopez (Kiko), aged 72, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2024. Mr. Lopez was born on November 4, 1951, in El Centro, California, son of Francisco and Maria Lopez.
Mr. Lopez was a longtime resident of Imperial Valley and worked in mason cementery for over 20 years. Mr. Lopez is survived by his siblings, Jose (Bebo) Lopez, Manuel Lopez, Araceli (Sally) Padilla, and Josefina Quiroga all from Imperial Valley; children, Suzanne Lopez of Fairfield, California; son-in-law, Gabriel Lopez; and two grandchildren, Gabriel Jr. and Giovanni Lopez; son, Francisco Ramirez Lopez Jr. (Guero) from El Centro, California; and his grandchildren, Frankie, Christian, Maria, and Nicky Lopez; and multiple great grandchildren. In addition he is survived by his maternal uncle, Frank Aguilar, and aunts, Maria Tsujimura and Rosemary Aguilar. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Rosa Mendoza.
Mr. Lopez was a long-time resident of El Centro, CA. He was a man of faith and devoted his life to Christ. Known for his warm heart and dedication to his family, he spent his life nurturing his family and serving his community. His legacy of love, resilience and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
Please join us in celebrating the life of Mr. Lopez. Viewing will be at Hem's Mortuary, 1975 S. 4th St., El Centro, CA, on July 11, 2024, from 6 to 9 p.m. Church services will be on July 12, 2024, at Christ Community Church, 572 W. Orange, El Centro, CA, at 10 a.m., followed by burial services at Evergreen Cemetery, 201 E. Gillett in El Centro, CA.
