Rolando Estala, age 64, of El Centro, CA, went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2023, after a sudden decline in health. He was born in El Centro, CA, to parents Arnulfo and Evangelina Estala on December 10, 1958. He was a kindhearted man known for his unwavering positivity and willingness to help others. He cherished his time with family and friends, but mostly he enjoyed creating everlasting memories with his nieces and nephews.
Rolando loved listening to music, cooking, fishing, and watching his favorite sport teams, Rams, Lakers, and Dodgers. He loved telling stories and making people laugh. He would light up any room he entered, and he was always the life of the party.
Rolando leaves behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten by all who knew him.
Rolando was preceded in death by his parents, Arnulfo and Evangelina Estala, and his two brothers, Luis Estala and Eugene "Keno" Estala.
He is survived by his brothers, Augustin Estala and Arnulfo Estala Jr.; sisters, Rosa Parra (John Parra) and Evangelina "Angie" Munoz (Jose "Buck" Munoz); and along with many nieces and nephews.
His presence will be deeply missed, but his memories will forever live in our hearts.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro. Service will commence on December 20, 2023, at Calvary Chapel in El Centro, CA at 10 am officiated by Pastor Rafael Ito Rodriguez. A burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Calexico.
