Anita Faye King, of El Centro, was born on November 21, 1941 in Holtville to Arlo and Theona Gayle and passed away in her home in Freedom, CA on January 18, 2022 at the age 80.
She enjoyed caring for many children during the 35 years she had her in-home child care business.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold King; sister, Shirley Mitchell; and brother, Troyce Gayle.
She is survived by her daughters, Shelly Martinez (Johnny) and Pamela Mc Ewen (Chuck); 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and sister, Lynda Preece (Pete).
Graveside services will be on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetary in El Centro.

Mr. & Mrs. King were among the original neighbors on our street. They were warm and welcoming and very good people to us growing up. We still call the house Mrs. Kings house. May she rest in eternal peace.
