H.A. McLaughlin, 85, of Sierra Vista, Arizona passed away on February 8, 2021. of Heart Failure in Sierra Vista, AZ. He was born on March 16, 1935 in Sacramento, CA. He was a Police Officer Sierra Vista Police Dept. in the early 60s. Then worked his career as a photographer Civil Service for the US government where he was responsible for taking photos of Apollo Space projects. He was a Black Belt in Karate and taught many young people in the IV the art of Karate. He loved photography, gardening and taking his family camping. He was preceded in death by his parents, Terry and Lou McLaughlin; grandson, Nicholas Anthony Garcia. He is survived by his wife, Nancy McLaughlin; daughter, Kim Garcia (Charles); son, Scott McLaughlin (Jeanette); daughter, Kelly McLaughlin; grandsons, Charles Allen (Mabel). Garcia, Scott Joseph McLaughlin and Sean Nicholas McLaughlin; ex wife Trish McLaughlin; brother, Brian McLaughlin (Jody); niece, Jill McLaughlin; step-daughter, Stephanie Camacho (Jason); step- grandson, Emiliano Martinez and his Pride and Joy his only great-grandchild, Caitlin Nicole Garcia. Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro. The family suggest memorial be sent to: Compassionate friends in memory of his grandson Nicholas Garcia.
