Walton Ike McBride Jr., 60, of Brawley, Ca lost his battle with Stage 4 Melanoma on Friday, March 19, 2021 in San Diego, CA. Walton was born on March 18, 1961 in El Centro, CA. He married Virginia Eloise McBride on June 4, 1983 in San Diego, CA. Walton had various manual labor careers. From cattle truck driver to ASE certified mechanic to journeyman power lineman. Walton was preceded in death by father, Walton Ike McBride Sr. and his mother, Melinda Mae Eggar. Walton is survived by wife Virginia Eloise McBride of Brawley, CA; sons Walton Ike McBride III of El Centro, CA and Jake McBride of Brawley, CA; daughters Andrea Padilla (Frank) of Brawley, CA, Erica McBride of Brawley, CA and Hope McBride of Brawley, CA; grandsons Walton Ike McBride IV, Frank Padilla and granddaughter Idalynn McBride; sister Desiree Strong (Daryl) of El Centro, CA; brothers Ernie McBride (Lourene) of Atascadero, CA, Todd McBride (Kathy) of Chesapeake, OH, Chris McBride of Chesapeake, OH. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 6p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley, CA. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 9a.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley, CA. Burial will immediately follow at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, CA.
