1935 - 2017 Obituary Condolences

Lou Robinson age 81, passed away after a short illness of cancer on Sunday, February 5, 2017 in her Holtville home surrounded by her family. Lou was born on June 7, 1935 in McCalister, Oklahoma to Demp and May Sawyer. She was raised in Holtville and attended Pine Union and Holtville High School. Lou married Louie Johnson and then remarried to Dick Robinson. Lou worked a variety of jobs throughout her life which included a secretary for many years, a florist, a cook for Turning Point Cafe and was a caregiver. She raised her two children and enjoyed numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband Dick and son, Mike Johnson. Lou is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Rick Turner of Holtville; daughter-in-law, Rosie Johnson of Holtville; stepsons, Glen, Ronnie, Roy and Rick Robinson; numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Joyce Sawyer of Sun City, CA; sister, Carol Sawyer of Cedar City, Utah; sister-in-law, Bille Sawyer of Oklahoma and Mary Roovaart. Family, friends and others whose lives Lou influenced and touched are invited to attended funeral Service at Turning Point Life Center, 450 Cedar Ave, Holtville, at 12 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2017. Burial will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery on Zenos Rd. in Holtville.
