Tom Kelp, 49
Tom Kelp, 49, Crawfordsville, passed away Thursday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born February 28, 1963 in Crawfordsville to Durrell and Barbara (Lane) Kelp. He was a graduate of North Montgomery High School and had worked for Raybestos as a wafer grinding operator. He was a member of the Eagles and attended Rock Point Church.
He married Kim Puckett on May 19, 1984 and she survives. Also surviving are his parents of New Richmond, daughters, Kristen Kelp and Katie Kelp, both of Crawfordsville, brothers, Mark (Linda) of Wingate, Dennis (Susie) of Unionville and Bob (Jane) of Rockville. In addition, several nieces and nephews survive. He is preceded in death by brothers David and Don.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at New Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
