Williamsport - Rosalie S. (Cieminski) Kaniewski, age 92 of Williamsport, IN died at 12:48 a.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital.
Rosalie was born on September 4, 1920 in Irons, MI. She was the daughter of Edward John and Virginia (Zielinski) Cieminski. Rosalie lived near West Lebanon, IN, Milford, IL, and Warren County, IN since 1948. She attended Warren County schools. On January 17, 1938 Rosalie married Edwin Kaniewski in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1972.
Rosalie worked for several years at Radio Materials. She attended Trinity Presbyterian Church in West Lebanon. She enjoyed being with her friends at the Covington Senior Center. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting, crafts and reading. She collected birds and angels.
Surviving are 1 son, David E. Kaniewski (wife: Judi) of Williamsport; 1daughter, Marilyn O'Donnell of Terre Haute, IN; 1 sister, Pauline Cherry, who she reared as a daughter, of Terre Haute, IN; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren; special caregivers, Diana Austin and Lois Wesley.
Rosalie was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ferdenand Edward Cieminiski and Franklin Daniel Kaniewski

Marilyn and David sorry to read about the loss of your mother. Marilyn we were class mates from the 6th grade at Judyville grade school thru the 12th grade at Williamsport High School and you were in Delores Brooks and my wedding.
My mother also was at Woodland Manor and the funeral was at Grady Funeral Home. I have good memories of my mother and I am sure you will have them of your mother.
