Wilford "Red" A. Senesac, 97

FOWLER - Wilford "Red" A. Senesac, 97, died at 10:40 p.m., Nov. 17, 2012, at Green Hill Manor Nursing Home, Fowler. Born May 7, 1915, in Fowler, he lived most of his life there. He married Esther O. Puetz on Jan. 2, 1937. She preceded him in death. Red and Esther where married 68 years. When they were first married, they moved to California, where Red moved trees for movie stars and around the Rose Bowl.

After a few years they moved back to Danville, Ill., where Red sold Fuller Brush products.

In 1947, Red, along with wife, Esther, started Senesac Inc. Red was an avid hunter and traveled out west to hunt antelope and deer with friends. He liked going to Kentucky Lake to fish.

He was a life long member of Sacred Heart Church and Holy Name Society, and was instrumental in starting The Benton County Catholic School Educational Trust Fund. He was a very generous person, good husband, and friend.

Surviving are one son, Alan, fiancée, Maureen Campbell, of Pine Village; a daughter, Joy (Doug) Scott, of Lafayette and two sisters, Dorothy Sell of Goodland, and Mary Green of Fowler. Three grandchildren, Trina, (Doug) Biggs of Westfield, Tracy, (William) Meredith of Apex, N.C., and Troy Hatke of Fowler; and 5 great-grandchildren, Ella, Emory, William and Addison Meredith, and Ethyn Hatke.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Victoria Senesac; and seven brothers, Anthony, Arthur, Mike, Elmer, Francis, Clifford and Everett Senesac; as well as three sisters, Lilly Doyle, Marcelene Sigo, and Doris Kerst.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-11 a.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Sacred Heart Church, Fowler.

Mass to follow visitation with Father Donald Gross officiating. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fowler. Windler Funeral Home, Fowler is in charge of arrangements.
