I just learned of Bob's passing recently. I worked with Bob for many years and we developed a strong friendship working together at several radio stations. He will be missed throughout the Lafayette area. RIP Bob.

I listened to Bob for years I was sad to hear of his passing! Prayers to his family I was an avid fan and years ago I requested song and it was out of rotation so Bob gave me the disk! I thought he was so sweet to do that! Prayers!

Lafayette radio was lucky to have someone as genuine as Bob Vizza. Bless your heart, Bob. There's a great afternoon drive slot ready for you at the greatest radio station you'll ever see. Positive thoughts for Chris and the rest of Bob's family.

Bob, you truly were a legend and THE nicest person anyone could have met. What a hoot we had at WKHY. You were a great person and always a pleasure to listen to on the radio! Chris, I am so sorry for your loss and will remember the special times at WLFI with you two! Rest in Peace my fellow broadcaster! Make 'em laugh in heaven. God Speed.

Although our paths have diverged, mostly by distance, in recent years, I remember fondly heart to heart discussions Bob and I had during some stressful times in his life. His courage and positive outlook on life was a great inspiration to me. Our prayers for God's comfort to you, Chris, and all those who surrounded this dear friend.

So sorry to hear that Bob has passed on. We met back in the early 70s when I worked part-time at WVTL in Monticello doing ad sales and commercial spots and was amazed at Bob's voice and his undying energy and patience to help train a novice like me. I've been away from Lafayette for 35 years but would find him on the airwaves whenever I came back home. Rest in peace.

As a native of Lafayette and having been in the same business, I would hear Bob on my visits back home. R.I.P.
