To the Snyder Family:
I have no doubt your mother had an enjoyable and full life, of which you can celebrate. It was my good fortunate to have her twice as my teacher, once in second grade and again in 5th grade for English. Her love of books and reading was one of the many gifts she shared as a teacher. Since we attended the same church, it wasn't unusual to see her on Sundays as well. Mrs. Snyder was always the same; kind, encouraging and demontrating her faith in so many ways. May all of you find comfort in the way she lived her life and that she has found eternal peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Lynn and Family, thinking of you with sympathy and warm memories of Mrs. Snyder as your Mother, supporting class events and following your sports activities, during our years together at Rossville. I have no doubt she was always the biggest fan of you and Phillip all her life.

She was one of my favorite teachers. One thing I do remember to this day was distinguishing the spellings of desert/dessert. She taught that the 2 s's in dessert stood for strawberry shortcake.

I was privileged to teach language arts next door to Kathryn for 6 years. She helped this young teacher understand the value of a variety of teaching styles. I respected and really liked her! I hope the warm recollections here will help her family know how much she was cared about!
