Raymond L. "Lynn" Baldauf, 63

Funeral Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids, Minn., for Raymond L. "Lynn" Baldauf, 63, who passed away Monday after a long and courageous battle with Sarcoidosis of the lungs at the Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services Thursday at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids. Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Cemetery in West Lafayette.

Raymond Lynn Baldauf was born June 6, 1949, in Lafayette, to Walter "Shorty" and Virginia E. (Lewis) Baldauf. He grew up in Lafayette until moving to Battle Ground with his family, during high school. Lynn honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1968 to 1972. In 1971, he accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and began his journey as a Believer. He went directly from the Navy to Trinity Bible Institute in Ellendale, N.D. and completed his bachelor's degree at North Central Bible College in Minneapolis. Lynn received his Master of Arts in Theology from Oral Roberts University in 1980. In September 1980, he married his dear friend, Robin Immer. From 1981 - 1985, Lynn taught at Open Bible College in Des Moines, Iowa, and at Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, N.D. In 1985, Lynn and Robin moved to Sauk Rapids, Minn., and Lynn established Lynn's Painting. The family grew in 1988, with the joyous birth of their daughter, Maia. Lynn was a hardworking, outgoing, talkative person who enjoyed meeting people, photography and being with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Robin of Sauk Rapids; daughter, Maia of Minneapolis; sister and brothers, Rosemary (Charlie) Straub of Jacksonville, Fla., Walter "Bud" Baldauf, David (Marsha Martin) Baldauf, and John (Sandy) Baldauf all of Lafayette. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wally; and sister, Ruth Chumley.
