Mark Dimmick Obituary
Mark was born on July 18,1963in Schenectady, NY to Patricia W.and John H. Dimmick, Jr.
He is survived by his sisters, Kathleen (Richard) Sanders of Richmond, VA and Marcy Dimmick of Clemson, SC; and a brother, John (Xiao Kai) Dimmick III of Greenville, SC as well as niecesMaegan (Tara) Blume-Moore of Richmond, VA and Misha Dimmickand nephewKeegan Dimmick of Greenville and one greatnephew, Cooper Moore.
A graduate of Summerville High School (1981) and Winthrop College, Mark loved history, nature and music. He forged his own path in life and met many people along the way. His incredible knowledge and love of storytelling will be sorely missed.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.

I first met Mark in the fourth grade, and we became good friends for many years. I have fond memories of him and all the fun we had together while growing up in Summerville. His passing hurts, but the memories remain. Kathy, Marcy, and John .......my thoughts and prayers are with you. Rest In Peace Mark.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
I remember playing football at Doty Field and soccer behind the Summerville stadium. We remained friends in high school, but Mark and Andy were closest. I havent seen nor heard from Mark in years, but I was just thinking of him the other day. Things like that make you wonder if anything is a coincidence. Im going to miss you Mark. Godspeed!
