Cecilia Hewitt Obituary
Born June 12, 1933 in San Francisco, she moved to Maine at a young age, where she spent the remainder of her life. She spent many years as a resident of Biddeford and then moved to Springvale to live out her later years.
She was a wonderful mother to seven children.
She is survived by her daughter Jayne and her husband David Morin of Springvale, daughter Donnita Cushman of Dover, N.H., daughter Christina Stevens of Springvale, son Leonard Hewitt of Biddeford and Laura and her husband Chip Foye of Cape Elizabeth; as well many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cecilia is predeceased by her daughter Kimberly Hewitt as well as her son Matthew Hewitt; and five of her grandchildren.

Mom, I will always remember your quick wit (sometimes sarcastic) and your great sense of humor. You were always very direct and said what you thought...no mincing words for you! I think I got that trait from you. The greatest pride in your life was your children and grandchildren. You never missed an opportunity to tell me how proud you were of my accomplishments. You also never let me leave without a hug and kiss. You will be missed. I hope you have reconnected to all those you loved who passed over to the other side before you. Rest in peace.

Love and Miss you Cee. Your always with me and always will be! Our talks throughout the years, our visits and little trips we made. Shopping, coffee, post office and visits from a house to house. You, mom and Aunt Dolly were like the 3 Musketeers! Your boldness, your sensitive side you kept inside, your love for your children and grandchildren. You will always be know as a classy lady. Never going out without looking your best. I'm glad for the friendship you and my mom had. As you and mom and Aunt Dolly and Cheryl and Walter are gathered at a table, having your coffee and morning talks, along with your laughter of knowing each one of you have children who are still learning about what you all went through by the steps we take each day.

You were always like a real mom to me. I loved all the stories you told of your earlier years raising the family. You put a smile on my face with your wit and humor. Always loved the times with you. Like when you and Lenny visited my home on lake Sherburne with Donnita and we had the turkey and cheese sandwiches and talked and talked. A wonderful time. I shall always remember the times Donnita and I took you to your favorite place Teds fried clams. And afterwards we would have some of their delicious ice cream and maybe park at mousum lake. Theyll be so many beautiful memories. You will always be very special to me. Love you, Rob

Thank you mom for always being there for me and supporting me. I'll always cherish our special times together like us going to the beach to just sit on the bench and talking while watching the waves crash and break against the rocks; the times we spent playing rummy, even though you always kicked my butt!. Thank you for our quiet meaningful conversations and always putting a smile on my face when I was down & out.
