Robert Reed Obituary
WELLS - Robert E. Reed, 77, of Wells, Maine, passed away on Jan. 26, 2019.
Born in Fall River, Massachusetts on Sept. 23, 1941, to the late Robert and Lillian Reed, Robert graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington.
He also served in the U.S. Air Force from 1964 to 1970. He worked as a school teacher for 30 years, 28 of them at Alfred Elementary School.
He is survived by his wife Marcia (Holt) Reed of 49 years; his five children, Jeffrey Reed, Christian Reed and his wife Celyn, Amy (Reed) Bourque and her husband Scott, Stephen Reed and his wife Casey, and David Reed.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2019 at Crossroads United Methodist Church, 16 Grammar Road, Sanford, Maine.

I want to say I am so very sorry to hear about your loss! He was a great man with a kind heart. I had Mr. Reed when I went to Alfred elementary school which was many years ago now. I always looked forward going to class and seeing what we were going to learn that day. He always made class fun and exciting and just had the biggest sense of humor. You are no longer in pain and suffering we will all watch over you and remember the great times we all had with you. Rest easy.
